"The colour of water" Photo Exhibition at the Open-air Water Power Museum

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) presents the exhibition of landscape photographer Theodoros Papageorghiou titled "The colour of water" in the Open-air Water Power Museum in Dimitsana.

The exhibition comprises pictures of water landscapes in Arcadia and the rest of the Peloponnese, focusing on the diversity of the interaction between water and light. The photographs, printed on selected high-quality paper and canvas, present water's endless flow of colour, form and rhythm, depicting the ephemeral nature of life itself as a colourful wave.

About the photographer
Theodoros Papageorghiou is a professional photographer who lives in the city of Tripoli in Arcadia. Inspired by the landscapes of Greece, he focuses on pictures that celebrate human conscience as a distinguished creation of nature. He aims to create works that are prepared, in all stages such as shooting and processing a photo as well as selecting the paper and printing, by the creator himself, so that the material features of each work may enhance the visual delineation.
