Digital application for smart phones and tablets for the Silversmithing Museum

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation has completed the design of a digital application for smart phones & tablet-type computers conceived for the Silversmithing Museum, in Ioannina.

The application is bilingual (Greek/English) and comprises the following modules:

- Practical information about the museum and the exhibition’s content

- A French version of the exhibition’s texts
  (through the scanning of QR codes in the museum premises)

- A digital “Treasure Hunt” game
  (through the scanning of QR codes in the museum premises)

- Virtual 360° tour

The digital application was developed by the company Digital Innovations and is part of the subjob “Multimedia Interactive Applications” of the “Silversmithing Museum of Ioannina” Act, which was financed by the Operational Programmes “Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship” OPCE ΙΙ (2007-2013 NSRF, with co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund) and “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020”.
