The book in this story is tiny, so tiny that in order to see it you need a microscope. The important thing about this book is that it craves one thing: it yearns to be read. Will it find a way to prove its value and no longer be invisible? Will the old central library’s sole visitor, the boy with the green glasses, be able to help it?

The children’s story “The tiny book that wanted to be read" won the first prize in the children’s book writing and illustrating competition for adults launched by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation’s Library and the Municipal Library of Kallithea in April 2015. The digital book, which enriches the digital publications of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, was produced in the context of programmes to reduce the Foundation’s environmental footprint (EMAS).
