Purchasing, payment, shipping and return policy

Information about the products

On piopmuseumshop.gr you will find items that are inspired by the themes of the Museum Network and the publications of the Foundation.

All prices are in euros (€), including VAT.

The Foundation retains the right to adjust prices without notice.

Sizes, weights and product measurement units are approximate.

Although an effort has been made to represent them as accurately as possible, the colours of the products may be different than those depicted on the website.

Payment methods
Payment of the order is carried out in absolute security through the following:

  • Visa and Mastercard credit cards of all banks
  • Visa and Mastercard debit cards of all banks
  • Maestro debit cards
  • Visa and MasterCard prepaid cards of all banks
  • Diners cards

All transactions are processed via a secure internet payment portal of Piraeus Bank, which encrypts the card data in a secure hosting environment.
All transactions are in euro, so prices in other currencies are only indicative. To find out the exact exchange rate, please contact the issuer of the card that you will be using.

Shipping methods
Greece

Items are usually shipped within seven working days after confirmation of the order.

Items are sent by courier.

Packaging and shipping for all orders in Greece is free of charge.
Delivery times may be extended in case of a problem concerning the availability of the items ordered or for reasons of force majeure (e.g. adverse weather conditions, strikes).
In that case, you will be informed through email or telephone, so that you may confirm whether you still wish, under given conditions, to receive your order. The Foundation shall not be liable in case of failure of delivery due to force majeure (natural disasters, military or political unrest etc.).

Abroad

If you wish to receive your order abroad, please contact us first through email sent to piop@piraeusbank.gr, so that we can calculate shipping costs and inform you about them.

The exact amount of shipping costs depends on the weight of the parcel and the delivery address.
Items are sent by courier.
Items are usually shipped within seven working days after confirmation of the order.
Purchases from customers outside the European Union may be subject to additional charges from taxes and duties during the customs clearance process.
The Foundation shall not bear responsibility in regards the payment of these charges.
Also, delivery times for orders from abroad may vary according to the postal service and the customs processes of each country.

Cancellation methods
If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us through email sent to piop@piraeusbank.gr, within three days from the order date, writing the order number.

Returns  
Within 14 days from the receipt of your order you have the right to withdraw from the contract and return the product.
When returning a product, you need to contact us through email sent to piop@piraeusbank.gr.

The product or products to be returned should be in the condition in which you received them, without any damage/tear, without having been used, worn, and stained or in any condition other than the original one.
During sales, discount articles can be changed only with other discount articles. Also, items in discount throughout the whole year can be changed only with products in the same category. Notwithstanding the above, returned products can be changed with the same products provided that the Foundation still has them, or with any other product of equal value and of a different type, size or colour.
Also, the amount of money for the purchase may be refunded.
The buyer bears responsibility for returned products until their arrival to the Foundation premises.
Ensure that the returned products are securely packaged and not in danger of being damaged during shipping.
Any returns made under conditions different from the above will not be accepted.
Shipping costs for the return of products shall be borne entirely by the sender.
In case of returned products, refunds will be credited to the debit or credit card that was used during the purchase. Refunds will take place within 14 days from the receipt of the returned products by the Foundation.
In case the product you received is defective, please contact us as soon as possible through email sent to piop@piraeusbank.gr so that we may settle the matter.
In case of any dispute regarding your purchase from this e-shop, you have the right to request a review by the Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
