28.6.2014
5.7.2014

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation is organizing a workshop for adults on creating handmade jewellery at the «jewel» of Volos' industrial heritage and Modern History, the Rooftile and Brickworks Museum N. & S. Tsalapatas. The sessions will take place on June 28 & 29 and on July 5 (from 11am to 12:30pm on all three dates).

The first workshop (28/6) comprises a presentation of, and practical experimentation with, the technique of liquid glass. Participants will experiment using combinations of glass with metal, paper, colour, cold enamel and three-dimensional objects. Those who attend the second workshop (29/6) will learn how to make jewellery using leather as the principal material, as well as recyclable remnants of leather, fabrics and ribbons, while during the third workshop (5/7), participants will create summer jewellery of a modern style.

The classes are offered free of charge. Prior application to attend is mandatory, as the number of participants is limited.
