FAQ

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) is a non-profit public benefit foundation, which operates within the framework of Piraeus Bank's corporate responsibility. Its aim is to preserve and promote the country's cultural heritage. Its work is implemented through the Network of thematic Museums located in the Greek provinces, the Historical Archive and the Library in Athens, as well as through research work, publications, educational programmes and the various cultural and scientific events it organises.

In every thematic Museum, a journey into Greek tradition and technology awaits the young visitors. The Museums' educational programmes for schools and families include games and activities, with stimuli for children of various ages. Similar educational programmes are also organised at PIOP's Historical Archive and the PIOP Library.
If you are a teacher and would like to plan a visit to a Museum or your school's participation in an educational programme, please contact the Museum or the PIOP site you wish to visit. To organise your visit, ask for the educational material of the site you are interested in.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available to visitors throughout the Museum Network, the Historical Archive and the Library.
