The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP), as a member of the Piraeus Bank Group, has the strategic objective to harmonize its operation with the Group's policies and to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), by setting strategic guidelines to support and promote sustainable development in the pillars where it operates: society – culture – environment. In the context of its activities, PIOP seeks to be consistent with the commitments it has undertaken to strengthen the social fabric and enhance relations with local communities, to safeguard cultural heritage and protect the environment.
