The PIOP Museum Network reopens

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP), having taken all necessary measures for safeguarding the health of visitors and staff, will be reopening and welcoming visitors as of Friday, May 14 at its network of nine museums: Silk Museum (Soufli), Open-Air Water Power Museum (Dimitsana), Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil (Sparta), Museum of Industrial Olive-Oil Production of Lesvos,  The Rooftile and Brickworks Museum N. & S. Tsalapatas (Volos), Museum of Marble Crafts (Tinos), Environment Museum of Stymphalia, Chios Mastic Museum,  Silversmithing Museum (Ioannina).

Note that the "AFRODITI LITI-Untameable Nature" exhibition is on view at the Environment Museum of Stymphalia, featuring selected works of the famous sculptor peacefully infiltrate the permanent exhibition of the Museum and emphasize the relationship of interdependence between man and nature, while at the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil in Sparta visitors can enjoy up to May 31 the exhibition " ‘21 allios’: The Greek War of Independence in Playmobil Dioramas", an original approach to events from the pre-revolution years to the foundation of the modern Greek state, using Playmobil figures.
