The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) participates for yet another year in the celebration of European Artistic Craft Days (6-11/4) with the theme “Materials in action”, organizing online workshops for adults.

In particular:

·         Wednesday 7 April (16:00-17:15)

Online workshop titled “Jewellery design: from raw materials to paper”. How to imprint on paper the basic materials used in jewellery, so as to create a blueprint for the final outcome? Dimos Papadopoulos, costume designer from Ioannina, presents the basic materials used in designing a jewel and then participants try to put their own designs on paper.

·         Friday 9 April (16:30-17:45)


Online jewellery workshop titled “trash pop art”.  Using woolen threads, that were once the prime material for the famous woven textile of Arkadia, the “Harridans in Action” provide guidance to participants so that they can create their own imaginative jewels and decorate them with recyclable materials of their own choice.

The first 50 persons registering for each workshop will be notified and will receive instructions regarding materials and introduction to the online workshops.
