“The Linear B script in needlework” at the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) is celebrating the European Artistic Craft Days (1-7 April) and, in collaboration with the non-profit company “Α&Β Creating”, is holding an embroidery workshop for adolescents and adults on the theme of “The Linear B script in needlework” on Sunday 7 April (from 11am-14:00) at the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil, in Sparta.
The craftspeople of “Α&Β Creating” will initiate participants to the “chain stitch” embroidery technique, so as to embroider the Linear B script’s ideograms for olive tree, olive and olive-oil on linen.
The workshop is addressed both to beginners and to advanced needleworkers.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. 

Prior sign-up for the activity is a necessary prerequisite.
